Hello, beautiful mamas!

My mission is to give you the information and support you need to meet your personal breastfeeding goals. As a CLC I am here to listen to your lactation questions, concerns, and needs, and to offer guidance and individualized recommendations to make your unique feeding journey as positive as possible. I am here to support, encourage, educate, and never to judge. I am here to empower your decision making.

Being a mother to a newborn, an older baby, a toddler…is life altering. So much love, so much joy, so much wonder, so much exhaustion and so much worry. I am SO passionate about helping expectant mamas and postpartum mamas learn about breastfeeding and gain the knowledge, confidence, and support they need to meet their personal feeding goals. To mamas of tiny humans—I see you! I am you! I recognize and honor everything you do! You are doing an amazing job! I am here to listen, support, and walk with you along your feeding journey. You are not alone. Thank you for being here.

Virtual and In-person Support

Although lactation is a natural process, breastfeeding can require assistance and practice to work smoothly.

Lactation support is crucial to a successful and positive experience. I'm happy to offer both virtual and in-home consultations. Ideally, breastfeeding should not be painful. Reaching out for support can help address causes of pain as well as offer interventions to remedy these causes. Consultations also offer useful tips about feeding frequency, how to recognize and respond to your baby’s feeding cues, and how to best respond to common breastfeeding issues such as uncomfortable latch, nipple pain, breast problems including mastitis and clogged ducts, and questions and concerns about pumping, milk storage, and weaning.

First and foremost, consultations provide emotional support and encouragement and a listening ear to offer helpful suggestions and boost your confidence…which is key to breastfeeding success!

Breastfeeding Education

A big part of breastfeeding success is knowing what to expect. Prenatal breastfeeding education classes are an excellent way to learn about how lactation works and the key guidelines to follow to get breastfeeding off to a good start after birth. Breastfeeding education classes address benefits of breastfeeding for both baby and mother as well as the basics of positioning and proper latch, responsive feeding, maintaining milk supply, and busting popular myths about breastfeeding.
